1936
工匠 武比古の長男として、東京日暮里に生まれる。中学生の頃から父につき家業の 「錺職かざりしょく」 の技を身につける。
1960
明治大学商学部卒業。
1963
「貴金属美術工芸品を、ひろく人々に」と関工芸株式会社を父と共に設立する。
1989
作品「海のイメージ」労働大臣賞受賞。
1990
伝統工芸士に認定される。
1996
米寿を迎える父を継承し、二代目 武比古となる。
1999
東京都功労者表彰 優秀技能章受章。
2000
経済産業大臣表彰。
2001
黄綬褒章受章。

HISTORY

1936
Born as the first son of silversmith Takehiko in Nippori, Tokyo. During middle school,
began to work as apprentice to his father.
1960
Graduated from Meiji University.
1963
Established Seki Kohgei Co.,Ltd. together with Father.
1989
Received a prize from the Minister of Labor for the work "Image of the Sea".
1990
Recognized as a Master of Traditional Crafts.
1996
Upon his father's 88th birthday. succeeded the name Takehiko to follow on in the family tradition.
1999
Tokyo Metropolitan Distinguished Service Award.
2000
Commended by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.
2001
Received the Medal with Yellow Ribbon from the Prime Minister.
